How to Translate a Video into Multiple Languages

Note: This feature is Business Only.

If you need to translate a single video into multiple languages, start by translating it into one language and completing all proofreading for that project. When using this feature to translate into multiple languages, there is no need for repeated transcript proofreading.

  1. After ensuring the original text and speakers have been proofread, click the More Languages button in the top-right corner of the Speech section for that project.

  2. Select the additional languages you want to translate into (multiple selections are supported).

  3. Context & Preference: This section will automatically populate with the Context & Preference you entered when the current project was created.

    1. You can modify it here, and the changes will apply to all new translation tasks created later.

    2. Make sure the context is general enough for all languages. For example, if you're translating into German, French, and Chinese, avoid something specific like “Translate into a serious German advertisement video” and use something more general, such as “Translate into a serious advertisement video in the target language.”

  4. Click Start Translation, and multiple new tasks will be created for each language, without overriding the current project.
